A new immigrant there I wandered, curious – in the Land of Blogging, a poet, I found – and yet more, ‘til – a community of poets!
On daily reading them, – I took to leaving comments – some flowing out as poems – like a message in a bottle on the waves – or greeting card in the mail slot – sprayed graffiti on a wall – ‘Til one poet replied; This is poetry! worthy to stand in their own right to – become a book.
I’d never imagined as separate art – but with that friendly guide and goad – I gathered them, stumbled, learned – now in your hands you hold that book – because poets are a contagious tribe.
