Candice Louisa Daquin has written poetry since childhood. Her early years were influenced by her grandparents who were artists. She spent a lot of time displaced and transplanted, living in four different countries by her mid-twenties and this feeling of impermanence keenly permeates her body of work.
Daquin’s background in publishing, literature and psychology continues to inform the sphere of influence in her writing. Daquin is currently working on her next book and is an active believer in equal-rights and political reform, she lives in the American Southwest.
